Vatican Palace Sacred Site, Wuxi
(4.2/5 based on 95 reviews on the web)
Vatican Palace Sacred Site features a crazy fusion of Western and Chinese architecture, flavored with a dash of bright, colorful technology. The interior mimics St. Peter's cathedral in the Vatican City, but with highly ornate decorations and Buddhist sculptures. Huge golden ceilings and marble floors create a grandiose atmosphere, while the LED lights illuminate the golden Buddhist angels. Don't miss the incredible 360-degree theater, which tricks visitors with its moving floors, then refresh yourself at the vegetarian Buddhist restaurant. • This is a beautiful building to visit! There are several spots inside to buy lunch. Downstairs on your way out is an entire trinket shop and cafeteria style dining.
