Five Great Avenues, Tianjin

3.9
Take a walk through Five Great Avenues, a historically international district showcasing a wealth of different architectural styles from across Europe. The protected and well-preserved buildings date back to the late Qing Dynasty (1644-1911), when the city became a British colony. At that time, the influx of Westerners littering the area brought interesting takes on Gothic, Baroque, and Renaissance architecture. A popular place for expats to this day, the upmarket district also houses a number of Western food stores and restaurants along with 230 buildings of historical interest. • Come to Tianjin on business, I heard that Five Avenue is a well-known scenic spot in Tianjin, so a sneak, came to Five Avenue tour. Five avenue gathered in the last century of the 230 's national style of architecture, the spirit of Qingdao's eight mark, or is worth a look at the sights.

  • Five-Avenue buildings are beautiful, if the weather is warmer. It should be fun to walk around or ride a bike. Take the 13 bus come over, the navigation show should be in Zhanjiang road off, but after the West Kang Road car will not stop the station ... Because no one is up and down, the driver drives unusually fast. The moment I opened the door, I saw the sign of Zhanjiang Road ... Fortunately the second stop is not far, foreign language school station get off, walk past also very near. Look at the simple map on the wall at min Yuan Square ... Because of the habit of the model, Tianjin here a little read. There is a box of small brother asked us how to walk the cultural center of the five Avenue ... We said it was a tourist, I don't know. He asked a few more people, we are all tourists do not know ... Little brother said that the day before, did not find ... This is the second time to come. A little awkward. We took a 801-seat wagon at Min Yuen Square. The cold wind, from time to time the instructors explain, a building is the former residence of which famous person. The carriage turns out to be quite a circle, cheerfully asked the carriage-boy, after sitting 1/3 of the distance to ask my mother what we're doing--explain she doesn't understand, I said we are looking at the street building, the child and I said mother we get off, I don't sit. In my point of view, Five Avenue is worth lounging about and enjoying architecture. But this little kid get no ha.
