Jinci Park, Taiyuan

#3 of 52 in Things to do in Taiyuan
With some 1,400 years of history, the prominent complex of Jinci Park holds a diverse collection of hundreds of spiritual sculptures and artifacts. Visit the exquisitely decorated Hall of the Holy Mother, established nearly 1,000 years ago, and inspect its carved wooden dragons coiling up the supporting pillars. Another highlight of the site is found within the classical Chinese garden: a 3,000-year-old cypress tree dating back to the Zhou Dynasty. For travelers who use our international travel planner, Taiyuan holidays become easier to arrange, with trips to the Jinci Park and other attractions mapped out and timetabled.

Well, no commercial stuff in the whole temple, finally go hungry is also out to get food. Intentionally solicit nobody sells incense, very quiet. Although some distance from downtown Taiyuan, but worth a look.

I hit up here just for the national holiday of the week to begin with and the Park was decorated with thousands of krysanteemein, and thousands of I am dumbfounded, beautiful! The Park is old, and there are many large trees, water pools, children up to fish out of a haavivat isoimmasta. The Park has a peaceful atmosphere while my käydssäni was a crowd packed. I enjoyed it from the start!

Jinsha's pass before going to the spacious and comfortable than I thought. It also sells a lot of fruit to give it a rent a hammock, so taking a break as a family unit was able to see a lot of people.

Where to stay in Taiyuan

The majority of Taiyuan's accommodations line the grid-like streets of the city center, either side of the north-south river that bisects it. Almost all flank Middle Ring Street and are comfortable but undeniably bland business hotels. You can find the highest concentration of options around Yingze district, but don't expect much variation from the soulless, mid-range accommodations found throughout town.
