Where to stay in Shenzhen

With the city quickly developing into a modern metropolis, Shenzhen accommodations have done well to keep up with the pace of change in the downtown area. The area south of Tanglangshan Country Park right down to Hong Kong's border offers an area rich in places to stay. Whether you're looking for some high-rise luxury, or a side-street dormitory, this central area has a large degree of variety. Located close to the main sightseeing highlights, and well served by public transport, the area stretches out to the east and to the west, with accommodations becoming less regular the further you go.

  • A great park for a stroll. Beautiful sights, paths and gardening. Fun to see the kites. Small shops offer drinks and snacks. The loudspeakers playing atmospheric music are a bit weird but overall nice atmosphere.
  • Nice place with trees and plants, many families fly their kites There's an interesting place for parents to help their children to look for a partner
  • Good place for spending an afternoon flying kites with family.
