  • As a bargain hunter I always like to have great things for a good price. Some things are just too expensive so I always ask for the best price. It takes time to walk around.  more »
  • For me frankly it's annoying to see this incredible amount of imitation of any kind. I understand how the authorities let them and especially large brands why they react?! You will find imitations of everything absolutely everything; caps, socks, lingerie, shoes, sunglasses, handbags, suitcases, hats, Scarfs... everything! But as I am against the principle of imitation I liked not at all! For those who like to imitate and ben go

  • years ago I used to go up over time prices. but the quality of the material better. decide what it is. get a price in mind. or you could get very ugly. you're going to have to negotiate. She dragged the half price offer on something if you took, you are making a loss. I always enjoy the bargain Theater yelling fight.

  • It was claustrophobic, and way too packed out for my comfort. Is there emergency lighting of any worth ? No visible exits. Just made me wonder about fire risk to be honest. The most popular activities were the nails and feet , massages and restaurants. I did all floors, and did actually find some real nice original products amongst the fake clutter, especially stones, bespoke clothing and cloth. But best liked the monkey man outside, he trained his little friend to dig into your pockets once he latched onto your legs ;) Real monkey business in action.
  • Amazing collection of shops and people!! Essential to bargain for good prices. Cash preferable and most traders are friendly and keen for business.
  • A neat shopping mall if one is after so called brand names at bargain rates. Nice restaurants around. Worthwhile to go for a day trip from Hong Kong. Don't forget to enter China you need a visa.
  • Close to HK border. Wade through the myriad knock-off shops in the lower levels and you'll find one or two shops that sell decent quality goods. We got kids shoes from 4th floor and fabric from the 5th.
  • Is ok if you wanna buy some cheap copy stuff but you really need to bargain cause all those sellers are ready to murder your pockets! Someone might try to sell you progressive lenses and frame for like 1000 rmb but you can actually get it for 400-450. Reading glasses for around 250rmb. Copy branded clothes also overpriced that i prefer just to buy the original. DO NOT BUY USB Memory sticks here. I bought 3-4 before supposedly 32 gb, after formatted it was only less than 5mb !!!

Where to stay in Shenzhen

With the city quickly developing into a modern metropolis, Shenzhen accommodations have done well to keep up with the pace of change in the downtown area. The area south of Tanglangshan Country Park right down to Hong Kong's border offers an area rich in places to stay. Whether you're looking for some high-rise luxury, or a side-street dormitory, this central area has a large degree of variety. Located close to the main sightseeing highlights, and well served by public transport, the area stretches out to the east and to the west, with accommodations becoming less regular the further you go.
