Where to stay in Shangrao

For a moderately sized city, Shangrao offers a surprisingly ample selection of hostels, business hotels, and bed and breakfasts. The largest scattering of accommodation options lie to the south of the city center, along the Xin River. Here visitors can make the most of easy access to the city's pedestrian malls around the Dongshi Residential District and glittering views across the waterfront. If your Shangrao itinerary is filled with days out exploring its mountains, waterfalls, and ancient villages, choose modest lodgings situated close to where you want to be and make the most of your time out with nature.
