Opposite the iconic promenade, the road features an elevated section where you can take in the scenery. Walking along, you'll see Shanghai's history encapsulated in the architecture, from historic buildings of British colonialism to Pudong's ultramodern skyscrapers, making up the recognizable skyline of today's Shanghai. Take a break from sightseeing in one of the world-renowned cafes or restaurants. Put Zhongshan Road at the forefront of your travel plans using our Shanghai tour planner.

  • There were many people day and night both went, when you go. Buildings lit up at night because at night is very beautiful, crowded with tourists and couples in the day more. The Shanghai tower was lit up from 19:00.

  • This place at night is good with all the different buildings lit up and all different colours . Great views all round here even during the day
  • One of the most beautiful and interesting sights of Shanghai. This Quay combines both European style and modern high-rise buildings. Special touch this place Add pleasure boats here much as tourists and locals alike.
