  • We went well both times, before this special pick choose to promote don't have to over view point, one of them is the natural history Museum of glass. Little bit far, to promote exports of iron station with the bus station car, del Carmen Hall has one luggage storage room and is free of charge. Has a real glass manufacture Stadium for these workshops.

  • Located in Baoshan district, far from the city center, transportation and tickets are expensive, but this museum is really interesting, in addition to scientific shows beyond all aspects of glass, there are lots of beautiful glass art, burning glass show, is well worth a look.

  • The museum have a fantastic exterior, contains a lot of modern glass pieces, have two cafeterias, and have a show showing how to make glass. The show makes it 4 stars, otherwise some parts of the museum are sort of empty, or full of glass art with no history. The shop is good though, have things in glass you cant buy otherwise. Anders
  • Very informative. Some beautiful artworks. Top, age-relevant activities for kids: glass painting; melting and shaping glass; etc. Nice glass blowing demonstrations; exciting kids activity center. Various food and beverage outlets. Definitely worth a visit!
  • I've visited the museum several times, as I live in Shanghai, and it was always a great experience - the museum and the exhibition design are exquisite. The information is really well presented, with both English and Chinese texts, easy to grasp for adults and children. It's a great place for families with children: DIY and craft workshops, glass blowing demonstrations and a new museum that is dedicated to children: Kids Museum of Glass. I'd reckon it's one of the best museums in Shanghai, and the world. Well worth the trip to Baoshan. Tip: Do visit the space they have for glass design exhibitions - Keep it Glassy - big designer names are on show and the set-up is impressive.
  • An amazing place, one of the best museums and exhibitions I've seen in the world, not only in Shanghai! They recently opened the Kids Museum of Glass - a kaleidoscopic and colourful experience for children - and it's also highly interactive. It's easy to spend a whole day here and not get bored for a bit.
  • It was great and had many eye catching exibitions.

As one of China's top commercial cities and tourist destinations, Shanghai offers accommodations that range from backpacker-friendly haunts to five-star hotels in futuristic skyscrapers. Few world cities can rival Shanghai in terms of room variety, services, and prices, and all types of travelers can easily find suitable options based on their preference and budget limitations. Puxi and Pudong remain probably the best options for most foreign visitors, as these areas offer both modern hotels packed with amenities and older establishments loaded with traditional charm.
