Definitely, it's a must see place in Shanghai. I enjoyed a scenic (and a little bit terrifying) view from the top level. There are two drawbacks in my opinion: 1) windows are not very clean, so it's s...  more »

Turn on this tower are just awesome at virtually any time of the day, we came to the 4, but were able to get to the observation deck to only half of the sixth. If you come at this time, you can look at Shanghai in the afternoon and in the evening. The entrance ticket costs 160 Yuan, you can buy a superb turn next to the Tower, but you can in advance. A few other sights offer the opportunity to take a single ticket to the tower and Museum/walk on the ship, etc. is much cheaper and faster.

We had to queue for more than 2 hours, in different queues. All the windows are dirty, so don't expect many good photographs!  more »

Had an excellent time. Went on Monday, and hardly had to wait. The Observation Deck had great views, and the glass-floored deck is an experience! The museum about Shanghai in the base of the tower is surprisingly excellent - great experience of the various eras of the city through alleys and streets.

Its the most iconic building of the Pudong area. Built in a way that it is impossible to miss. The pink hue of lighting on the tower (Some times a bit gaudy) does scream for attention. Over all a lovely place to be & unmissable if you are in Shanghai

What an amazing experience. The platform for viewing is a site to see. Luckily we had a clear day. A must do even for those who don't like heights like me!
