  • A trip to the small, old Shanghai is a must. Since few tourists know it, it is also far less crowded. It is something from the past few days telling one and very happy as the people at the time were with little. Thank you for the little story here.

  • It is a place where were preserved the features of the old town. Actually are some streets where there is an intense trade, with old buildings partially preserved or reconstructed. The location is a bit far from the Center, but can be reached easily by subway line 11. After getting off the subway follow inside the shopping center site until the exit located on avenida Zhennan. Continue towards the Southwest, bordering the Park Gu Yi (who is also worth a visit). Turn right at the end of the Park and look for the signs.

  • Eat Xiao Long Bao, had come to nearby shops, but this time we went sightseeing first. Taste the atmosphere of the old China that rapid has been difficult, but very nostalgic feeling like the lone place in here. I think Xiao Long Bao taste among the local people, going out to have fun.

  • A short walk from the NanXiang Metro station on Line 11, this is probably the easiest water town to get to from Shanghai without the aid of a long distance bus or tour group. Beautiful old buildings, cobbled roads and alleyways, and lots of lovely little bridges and canals. Tonnes of food and souvenir options. Many options to try XiaoLong Bao as NanXiang claims to be the origin of the delicious dumpling. It even has a Buddhist Temple and its own garden - there are entrance fees, but you can get a 40元 combination ticket that includes both, as well as a XiaoLongBao museum, and a museum on the town. Worth checking out GuYi Garden, too, whilst you're in the area.
  • Place to stay, the subway two compatriots tourist suburb of about 30 minutes. Yuyuyuen less people, slowly. Cheaply dressed in folk costumes, can be taken. Attention is a rip-off, but recommended to the girls! Here before walking takes about 20 minutes walk from the train station, but it is also fun.
