Jinjiang Action Park is a large amusement park at No. 201 Hongmei Road in Xuhui District, Shanghai, China. Founded in 1984, it is affiliated to the Jinjiang Group.TransportationThe park can be reached by taking Shanghai Metro Line 1 to Jinjiang Park station.Subway line one, Huhangyong expressway and Huhang railway reach the park directly. As well, more than 20 bus routes have stops set up there.Ferris wheelJinjiang Action Park is the home of the Shanghai Ferris Wheel, a giant 108m tall Ferris wheel. The wheel has a diameter of, and takes about 20-25 minutes to complete one rotation.Its 63 passenger cars can each carry 6 passengers who, on a clear day, can see the giant Oriental Pearl TV Tower in Pudong, the Songpu, Fengpu and Xupu bridges on the Huangpu River in the south, and Sheshan Hill in the west.Construction started in November 2002 and it began operating in May 2003, having cost over 10 million yuan (US$1.2 million) to build.

    They seem to close the bigger good rides when the park isn't crowded. However I have a feeling the park isn't crowded because they keep closing all the good rides. Maybe people are knowing to stay awa...  more »

    My husband and two teenagers went here as opposed to Disney or Happy Valley which were long and expensive cab rides away. They got the subway here for 4 Yuan each and it was easy to get there on line ...  more »

    I would not go there again..its low quality and most of the attractions w ere out of function when we were there. The surrounding has no trees, everything in direct sun. ....and much of the equipment its quite to old to enjoy. we were really disappointed.

    Jinjiang amusement park from small to large and two or three times, play the most is the torrent, but ended too soon. The overall project are relatively mild, not as exciting as Happy Valley.
