Fuxing Park, Shanghai

4.3
#5 of 84 in Parks in Shanghai
Watch people strolling, practicing tai chi, and playing mahjong at Fuxing Park, the only French-style park in Shanghai. The northeastern corner of the lawn near the Marx and Engels statue makes a good picnic spot, from which you can observe residents walking their pets and children flying kites. The park also features a small amusement park. Plan to see Fuxing Park and other attractions that appeal to you using our Shanghai trip planner .

  • 闢 is one of the earliest parks in Shanghai, the park within the landscape points Choulans open wide, the park in the park is often attracted to the people who love to take the film. For free, it is a green shade of the city. The passers-by are very enthusiastic, there are elderly chorus, there is a slippery, there are playing badminton, there are dancing. The European garden is also a feature.

  • Anyone who finds them self in Shanghai on a Sunday, should make their way over to Fuxing Park. The only way I can describe it is life. Vibrant, amazing life as residents fill the park to enjoy an array of activities as a community. The walkways are filled with dancers, while families and the elderly play games on the grass. Groups even meet to sing karaoke together, following the handwritten posters with the words.
  • Free entrance , not too big, nice and relaxing place
  • Very nice park. Great for a small walk or a afternoon sit.
  • BEST PARK. WE SHOULD TO TAKE THIS PARK FOR THE USA.
  • Nice and green quarter park, there is a big green grass to lay on, with lots of kids screaming and playing with kites. Adult play with kites too. More, there is a long alley where to walk, some Sakura in April and flowers in springs.

As one of China's top commercial cities and tourist destinations, Shanghai offers accommodations that range from backpacker-friendly haunts to five-star hotels in futuristic skyscrapers. Few world cities can rival Shanghai in terms of room variety, services, and prices, and all types of travelers can easily find suitable options based on their preference and budget limitations. Puxi and Pudong remain probably the best options for most foreign visitors, as these areas offer both modern hotels packed with amenities and older establishments loaded with traditional charm.
