Bund International Architecture Exhibition, Shanghai

(4.8/5 based on 650+ reviews on the web)
West of Huangpu River stands Bund International Architecture Exhibition, a vast architectural complex built in styles of Baroque and Eclecticism, which extends 1.5 km (0.9 mi). When the city opened its borders to the outside world in 1840, Europeans established new trade routes and constructed elegant office buildings here. Many architects were hired to design and build works of art, which in time became a symbol of the city's blend of cultures. You can visit and photograph some magnificent edifices here, such as the club building once used by the British residents, the building which belonged to the America Union Bank, or the eight-story building featuring a combination of modernism as well as Baroque and eclectic elements. • Metropolis Shanghai Huangpu River Center of trade and financial centre, that Shanghai and China's economy. To the West is in Shandong straight along old retro, chunky Western lined and so can taste of the good old days?. Outside you can admire from the Bund promenade.

  • So again, there is no new information, but the famous street, a night view of Shanghai from the point that should not be missed, never, I guess. But many of the famous, as long as people are too-public transport rather than to a taxi, be sure the children and hold their hands when you'll have to do that, I guess.
