Bund International Architecture Exhibition, Shanghai
(4.8/5 based on 600+ reviews on the web)
West of Huangpu River stands Bund International Architecture Exhibition, a vast architectural complex built in styles of Baroque and Eclecticism, which extends 1.5 km (0.9 mi). When the city opened its borders to the outside world in 1840, Europeans established new trade routes and constructed elegant office buildings here. Many architects were hired to design and build works of art, which in time became a symbol of the city's blend of cultures. You can visit and photograph some magnificent edifices here, such as the club building once used by the British residents, the building which belonged to the America Union Bank, or the eight-story building featuring a combination of modernism as well as Baroque and eclectic elements. • While watching a nice building lot has been moved. Like Europe, historic building was nice is a modern building, this is the other side of the river. Because it was only during the day but unfortunately I want see at night with landscape.

  • Of course, you go to the Federal if one is in Shanghai. You can already take a stroll and relax on the river. There is always something to see. In the evening, it is of course extremely full.

  • Outside the Eastern on the Bund across the River will represent modern Shanghai modern Shanghai, West. Outside the Bund international architectural Expo is now city is apparently being used as Government or banking institutions. Much better go at night than during the day. Western-style buildings are lit up even more dignified. I think this atmosphere is the Devil's city said is why the?. Somehow is.
