2.3/5 based on 85+ reviews on the web
Vivid wax dolls, artifacts, and pictures capture one of the most important moments in modern Chinese history at Birthplace of Chinese Communist Party. The museum spreads over two floors, the first of which shows the living room where the Communist party was born, displayed intact as it was on July 23, 1921. The grand exhibition hall on the second floor offers a more general history, displaying photographs, documents, and revolutionary relics. Stroll around the wax hall, where you'll feel as if the great Mao Zedong is giving a stirring speech to his revolutionary comrades right here, right now. While the museum has Western-style restrooms, its information boards are only in Chinese.
