Nanshan Buddhism Cultural Park, Sanya

(4.2/5 based on 110+ reviews on the web)
Meet China's traditional Buddhist culture at Nanshan Buddhism Cultural Park. While not a historical spot itself, the park represents Chinese Buddhism with its many temples and prayer buildings. Take a long walk around the grounds, or hop aboard the park train that stops at every site. Don't miss the main attraction, a three-faced bronze statue of Guan Yin Buddha that stands on a man-made insland just offshore. You can climb on top of the 108 m (354 ft) tall statue and admire the sea view. • Were there in the year 2011 and so far I'm remembering this place with enthusiasm, although after the hive a lot where they were and many have seen beautiful places, but this is just a stand-alone topic. First time there went with mom and daughter, and if my husband could walk a lot, it was difficult to get around everything, so the second time we returned with her husband alone. It's a huge park with an area of 50 km 2. All there is impregnated with the spirit of Buddhism, physically there is such an incredible serenity, where you can just sit and watch the beauty. On the territory of ply little trains of the type that you can buy a ticket and they carry you, making stops in between, and if children or parents, it makes it very easy, but if you are full of energy and desire to see as much as possible, it is worth walking. And it's all day. Stock up on snacks and go. So much man-made beauty you won't see anywhere else. It's big and small pagodas, statues, carved fences, bridges, ponds full of fish, a pergola with stone tables. You will see the largest Golden Buddha, can relax on benches, made in the form of all signs of the Eastern calendar, dog, Rooster, pig, Tiger. Stone turtles of all sizes and live in a pond. A huge statue of goddess Guanyin. To go to the territory over which rises the statue, buy a ticket in the form of maps, coated with real gold with a picture of your pet on this calendar. Under a statue in the temple Singing mantras, you can climb and touch the statue. You can see how the Buddhists worshiped their gods. It's all very very nice and interesting. We spent there 2 for and both times came back very tired but still we did not, I believe, and a half. So many years have passed, and I still dream of returning to Hainan to visit this place again.

  • In 40 kilometres from Sanya is a landscape park of Buddhism and longevity Njan'shan'. According to the Chinese, this is the best place in Hainan in terms of Feng Shui theory-an optimal combination of the basic components of the landscape: mountains, water, vegetation. Njan'shan' Park's motto: "peace, harmony, happiness and joy." The Park was opened to the public in 1999, and in 2005, was built, its main attraction is the world's tallest statue of the Guanyin goddess trjohlikoj. The one that looks to the North, holding the texts of Scripture-the symbol of wisdom. Facing to the East-the Lotus flower is a symbol of peace. In the hands of the third statue-glyph of prayer of Rosary. The statue together with pedestal-108 metres (108-a symbolic number of steps on the road to Nirvana). In the space of the pedestal is the prayer hall in honor of the goddess Guanyin. In a separate Pavilion in the park there is another statue of goddess Guanyin. This 4-piece meter high statue made of 140 kilograms of gold and adorned with precious stones. The goddess stands on a pedestal made of white jade in the form of a Lotus Flower and is a Buddhist Sanctuary-it laid the ashes of Buddha Shakya-Mooney, the founder of Buddhism. Therefore, one can admire for a fee (20 Yuan). In the Valley of longevity the principal object of photography is the statue of the family of turtles, a symbol of unity and continuity of generations. Next to the statue, you can leave the Ribbon with the wishes. Garden of Buddhist bells-a place for fans of solitary reflection. 42 bells hanging on a circle, symbolize 42 vow of serving people, these goddess Guanyin. In the Buddhist temple on the western edge of the Park in the morning and evening worship services. The Park is open from 8-to 18-0000 0000. The entrance ticket costs 145 Yuan. In the Park you can move around on foot or by train (30 RMB). The easiest way to get to the Park by taxi (40 minutes to go, the rate is 250 Yuan round trip, the taxi driver will wait for you). By bus (25 and 29) get twice as long but much cheaper (10-14 Yuan one way). Come better before 9-0000, so there is a chance to avoid the queue at the ticket office and crowds at major attractions.

  • This is the main attraction in the area of Sanya. A trip worth it. Tour-only if you are interested in the history, but lazy to read independently. If you want to just walk or read in advance about this place, it's best to go independently. You can walk at your own pace, not depending on the group. Get there easily-at 25, 29 to the final fare depends on where we're heading, left 14 Yuan per person. Entrance to the Park-145 Yuan. You can buy a ticket on the train, riding in the Park, if you want to save time and view all or if laziness to walk on foot. The Park is very nice, all at fenshuju. Aesthetic pleasure is guaranteed. But lovers of antiquity, know-the Park is open relatively recently, in 1999, a 108-meter Guanyin statue only appeared there in 2005. So the age-old atmosphere such as the Temple of heaven, there is no.
