Qinyuan Mountain, Quanzhou

(4/5 based on 95+ reviews on the web)
Rub the nose of the big Tao monk for luck and hike around beautiful Qinyuan Mountain. See waterfalls surrounded by lush nature and admire the play of colors of the azure lake, Qing Yuan Tian Hu. On your way to the top, which reaches 498 m (1,634 ft), see a Shaolin temple inhabited by Buddhist monks. In addition, the mountain holds great cultural and historical buildings and artifacts, including Taoist and Buddhist sculptures, 600 stone inscriptions, the shrine of the Master Honyi, and many others. Stop at the cafe at the top of the mountain, which serves refreshing tea and fresh vegetables, providing sweeping vistas over the city. You can find restrooms and signposted trails throughout the site. Put Qinyuan Mountain into our Quanzhou holiday planner to see other points of interest to visit during your vacation in Quanzhou.
