4.3/5 based on 95 reviews on the web
Feel at peace as you walk around Kaiyuan Monastery, a Qang Dynasty shrine with a history spanning nearly 1,000 years. Notice South Indian-style granite carvings decorating the Hindu-Buddhist temple as you take a peaceful stroll through the grounds. Two Dravidian-style pagodas situated either side of the complex provide excellent vantage points, from which you can take in views of the central courtyard, main hall, and small hall. Make sure you visit a special pavilion at the back of the complex where the remains of a Song Dynasty ship are stored.
  • A typical Chinese temple that's the highlight of Quanzhou. Inside the compound is the Zhenguo Pagoda (镇国塔) and the west one Renshou Pagoda (仁寿塔), which are both symbols of the city.
  • I know english a little ,but they know nothing nothing ,you can't communicate with chinees people ,that was my most badly trip.
