  • Unfortunately we didn't have the walk by the River, but we walk the pedestrian street that is in your area. It is out-of-series. Trade on both sides. You have clothes, shoes, food, ice cream, you. Whatever you want. The architecture is spectacular. And when night falls, they begin to illuminate the street and trade. Beautiful. The atmosphere is spectacular.

Where to stay in Nanjing

You won't find a shortage of accommodations in Nanjing, a modern metropolis long on the radars of domestic and international tourists. Look south of the main railway station, following Central Road, to find the primary districts where visitors stay, with clusters of high-rise hotels--some luxurious and others standard, but all comfortable. A number of smaller boutiques set in formerly residential buildings provide atmospheric, well-maintained, and budget-friendly options. Take a look at the side streets around Central Road for a wealth of hostels and guesthouses.
