Star of Nanchang, Nanchang

(3.4/5 based on 90+ reviews on the web)
Take a ride on Star of Nanchang, observing panoramic views of the city from a height of 160 m (525 ft). Opened in 2006, it was the tallest of its kind in the world, until it was superseded two years later. Taking half an hour to complete a single revolution, you're afforded time to relax and watch your view evolve. Though the gondolas are supposedly air-conditioned, it's worth visiting after the heat of the day has subsided a little. Consider a nighttime excursion, when the wheel lights up like a kaleidoscope. • Came here for Chinese New Year, there was smog so the ferries Wheel ride we couldn't see much. We just fed the pigeons and played the go cart mostly. Overall it is okay.
