New Army Day square, plus the lights are beautiful at night. Around transport facilities, has deep historical significance, take the kids to play is a good choice, relatively speaking, is recommended.

Parts of the square are still ok, but they are working on installing permanent bridges to cross the street and metal walls block the edges. The memorial monument is still accessible at the south end.  more »

Personally visit the Army Day square is the best choice to go in the evening, under the lights of the Nanchang Uprising monument will look magnificent and solemn. In addition, evening and music fountains can enjoy! Weekends or holidays when many people with young children will arrive at the Army Day square a kite, if you are interested, you can also join the team. Selling kites of course a lot of people here, there are a lot of kite-flying masters, a kite-flying contest that afternoon to see if they are pretty comfortable. Army Day square Zhongshan Road, super close, look tired to go to Zhongshan Road to eat all the food is super good too!

Large space in the heart of Nanchang. Good place to walk, sit, and enjoy the weather. There is a restroom on the side of the square, which is located underground and is hard to find. Just ask employees in uniform and they will point the way.

A must see when traveling in Nanchang! The center of shopping and community life. Like in all of Nanchang, English is not spoken at all. I think this is a really important place to visit to get a feel for the community and reason for Nanchang's existence.

Praise a hometown square, used to be the country's second largest square, now commercial is rather strong. Bayi uprising monument is a landmark.

Where to stay in Nanchang

Expect well-maintained business hotels in Nanchang, but if you're looking for affordable accommodations, don't set your expectations too high. While this destination has hundreds of hotels and hostels to choose from, the inexpensive options tend to lack modern comforts. If possible, spend a little bit more on a mid-range hotel to secure adequate amenities. If you have the money to spend on a more upscale international hotel, plenty of these options lie distributed throughout the city.
