  • In the vicinity of the Nativity Museum there is an annual Santa Claus village in front of which attracts all travellers and local people. The government-built cabin is divided into 4 areas to form a small village, the first street is mainly food for the Lord, 23rd Street is created by the local text, Fourth Street is mainly selling the Christmas features of the decoration. At night, under the light, the silver-white roof was shining, very beautiful, inviting people to go.

  • Vasco da Gama Memorial Park and attached facilities. Sports Centre, and the main show in Macau, I am able to watch sports, such as basketball.

  • It is a large facility located next to the Macau S.A.R. the Vasco da Gama Park. In the event space, and a gymnasium, includes a variety of sports events. When I went I was open martial arts tournament. It is a very busy place.

  • Happen to be exhibiting race cars and motobikes for the weekend Macau grand prix. Just an open space nothing there
  • I was at the Tap Seac Square on a sunny day in April and sweat afternoon time. The light was too strong and not very good to take photos of surrounding old building from Portugal time. After I have seen several other historical old buildings in Macau for 2 days, this place became not very attractive to me. It will be better in the evening time to walk and relax there, where buildings are lit up.
  • One of the few places to visit in Macau besides casinos and glamour. The city centre has amazing architecture diversity and is conveniently enhanced with directions to all the sightseeing attractions. Should go there with a taxi to start your tour around the attractions.
  • Lovely open space where they hold many popular event and shows. Also fulcrum of museums and cultural centre
  • Lots of events are held here but when nothing is on its a big square very little shade and not much in the way of sitting.

Where to stay in Macau

Cotai Strip in Macau offers luxury hotels, with famous names providing rooms looking out over the harbor and down into the historical center. Establishments in this area also feature onsite entertainment options and Vegas-style casinos. Look for more affordable options north of Nam Van Lake, where chain and boutique hotels provide rooms with views of the city, the harbor, and across to China proper. Head farther north for lower rates offered by hostels and apartment rentals.
