St. Lawrence's Church, Macau
(4.2/5 based on 95+ reviews on the web)
Elevated above the city streets and away from the crowded attractions of a nearby square, St. Lawrence's Church harks back to the 16th century and remains one of the oldest Catholic churches in Macau. The interior is simple yet elegant, with a soft blue ceiling complementing the light yellows of the exterior. Relax on the stone benches at the small garden next to the church, where you can switch off and take a leisurely break from the busy streets. Put St. Lawrence's Church into our Macau trip generator to see other points of interest to visit during your vacation in Macau.

  • Nice big church. The glass paintings, sky blue colored ceilings, architecture, etc are worth to see. I would rank this next to St Joseph Church as one of the best Churches in Macau. Access this church...  more »
  • 当地人称为圣老楞佐堂,建立于1560年,是澳门最古老的三座教堂之一,外观还是很经典的葡式建筑,颜色也是明媚的黄色,内部异常精美,非常推荐。
  • The oldest Cathedral in Macau says. As the years passed, the Church is very beautiful. They're catching people in the mass must be quiet.

  • Not to be mistaken for St Paul's church. This one has a rather plain exterior and interior. The views are quite nice but not outstanding considering the alternatives. Give this a miss unless you've already hired a driver and you're on your way into the city after seeing A-Ma temple.
  • Despite all the tourists with selfie sticks hitting you in the head, this is quite a site.
  • Nice piece of architecture ! avoid going in public holidays or you'll get hit by one of the hundreds selfie stick around the place.
  • Its a familliar place for pilipino..
  • Wrong Label. St. Paul Ruin is not here. It is St.Lawrence's Church
