Historic Site Tourist Spot
Dedicated to Our Lady of the Rosary, Saint Dominic's Church 玫瑰聖母堂 Igreja de São Domingos represents a baroque-style church constructed in the late 16th century. The church was initially built with wooden planks for structure, but as the years went by and funding was available, the original planks were replace with quality timber. Be aware that only ten people are allowed up to the bell tower at a time. Because the church sits along Macau’s heritage trail, it can get crowded, so be prepared to share the space with others. • I think it's the only church in Macau that allows you to move close to the altar area for photo taking or take a closer look at the altar setup. Simply great.  more »
