Rua da Felicidade, Macau

3.5
#46 of 222 in Things to do in Macau
Once a red light district, Rua da Felicidade is now home to vintage Chinese houses painted an eye-catching red, and several shops and restaurants. The street's name, literally translated as "Happiness Street," reflects the locals' friendly nature and the street's serene vibe. Sample the noodles in any one of the restaurants here, as the area is renowned for serving authentic food made by experienced chefs. • Is a bit strange in the night of September 27 minutes 23.50 pm, when wives and walk to the site of the Villa to stay Universal. Time is still on the road (about 500 m before the entrance aisle towards the Villa), there's a granny crossing the street and almost hit by a taxi. On the last block before arriving at the Villa, there are two people talk the talk with sign language (less clear what dumb or not). Me and the wife went looking for stall K-Circle not far from the Villa. When we were behind, 2 man tersebutt on jalan Villa while speak sign language. And more surprising, the Grandmothers of yesteryear the way behind us all of a sudden there's been near 2 man while talk sign language as well. Fast path is also the grandmother of it. When my wife and go up the stairs of the villa, the grandmother was looking towards us. What is among friends who once this natural?

Where to stay in Macau

Cotai Strip in Macau offers luxury hotels, with famous names providing rooms looking out over the harbor and down into the historical center. Establishments in this area also feature onsite entertainment options and Vegas-style casinos. Look for more affordable options north of Nam Van Lake, where chain and boutique hotels provide rooms with views of the city, the harbor, and across to China proper. Head farther north for lower rates offered by hostels and apartment rentals.
