  • Definitely worth checking out, head up to the top and enjoy the view over the bay. You can get photos with the canons or explore the lovely gardens. Lots of grassy areas to sit and enjoy the sunlight.
  • Easy to find, and cheap entry, even free to Seniors. Very well laid out, with plenty of modern exhibits and some excellent models. Perfectly sized for one visit - of 1 to 2 hours. The museum is easy t...  more »

  • Excellent museum with a very complete collection, interactive expositions and easy-to-understand explanations on Macau's history. Definitely #1 on my list (I've been to lots of famous museums in the U.S. , Mexico, Panama, China, Japan, Australia, etc.) It has a very extensive collection of antique artifacts, clothes, instruments; it not only shows items but also has exhibitions on Macau's cultural heritage, traditions, and historical characters. A treat for museum lovers
  • Really perfect museum. Macao local students are free of charge. Interesting historic fabrics and display.
  • Museum was constructed inside and under the fort. The history, culture, relationship between China and Portuguese interpreted in 3 stories building. The exit of the museum bring to the top of the fort.
  • Really good design of the exhibits, well mix and balance of east and west (y)
  • Must see if you will visit Macau. It is near St. Paul so better drop by here also. Entrance is 15 macau dollars. Interesting and entertaining.
