A bit of greenery in the middle of Macau, doesn't hurt to spend some time outside the hustle and bustle.

A very nice Chinese garden in downtown Macau. Adequate for relaxation and contemplation. Summer may be a bit hot ... It's free and popular with local people.

The most amazing garden in Macau, so small but peacefully a master work of art in balance with nature and human consciousness! Harmony is what you breath over here! Bravo!

Where to stay in Macau

Cotai Strip in Macau offers luxury hotels, with famous names providing rooms looking out over the harbor and down into the historical center. Establishments in this area also feature onsite entertainment options and Vegas-style casinos. Look for more affordable options north of Nam Van Lake, where chain and boutique hotels provide rooms with views of the city, the harbor, and across to China proper. Head farther north for lower rates offered by hostels and apartment rentals.
