  • The Toulouse House is a quiet mansion in the bustling streets of Macau, next to the fiery red Michelin-Kika gelato in recent years. The interior is Huang with lavish details, a large patio, a towering thick bricks wall, and a very different world from the inside. There's also a history movie, it doesn't take much time, it's worth seeing.

  • Beautiful 2 storey with 3 courtyards building architecture with Portuguese decoration and Chinese architecture style. Entrance if fee of charge.
  • Beautiful historical house, some people say is haunted, but I don't care, I really enjoy the architecture and design of this house
  • Looks good in the middle of Portuguese architecture but didn't have a chance to go inside.
  • Interesting glimpse into Macau's history
  • Brilliantly preserved, but reminds of some of the villas in Pompeii.

Where to stay in Macau

Cotai Strip in Macau offers luxury hotels, with famous names providing rooms looking out over the harbor and down into the historical center. Establishments in this area also feature onsite entertainment options and Vegas-style casinos. Look for more affordable options north of Nam Van Lake, where chain and boutique hotels provide rooms with views of the city, the harbor, and across to China proper. Head farther north for lower rates offered by hostels and apartment rentals.
