  • A well maintained site and the most interesting is to see trades written in Portuguese but that the owners can't even close to pronounce!

  • A public square surrounded by European architectural buildings that gives the feeling that you're in Europe instead of Macau. However, most of those buildings are converted into shops designed to trap tourists and the place can get quite crowded during peak hours. Still beautiful for taking pictures though and a relaxing place to hang out after a visit to Macau's famous landmarks.
  • Nice place to take pics n to browse historical site. Its great to have some modern shops inside the old fashioned architecture buildings
  • Popular tourist spot in Macau. Surrounded by Portuguese era buildings that all turned into shops make this place looks like a historical shopping space for tourists. Walking around this area and through the small alleys is really enjoyable. Go try visit the philathely museum, it's for free and perfect for the enthusiasts.
  • Great place to visit Or Just sit to take in the air & feel the place... Day time & night time the feel is different.. 😁
  • Fight the crowds and get a pork chop sandwich.... well worth fighting the crowds. I would avoid buying the Portuguese tarts here as they are not as good as others.

Where to stay in Macau

Cotai Strip in Macau offers luxury hotels, with famous names providing rooms looking out over the harbor and down into the historical center. Establishments in this area also feature onsite entertainment options and Vegas-style casinos. Look for more affordable options north of Nam Van Lake, where chain and boutique hotels provide rooms with views of the city, the harbor, and across to China proper. Head farther north for lower rates offered by hostels and apartment rentals.
