  • Most of Macau might not be too reminiscent of the city's past, but this square offers a very well preserved view of what Macau was like before the advent of modernity (and hideous casino's, which are ...  more »
  • While Rove has arrived at the square. See the bottom of the moire to walk the distance Paul Cathedral and the jerky turns out as garbage. Staff handed out only to eat the boat.

  • Awesome place to see in Macau. Plan well ahead as there are large crowds.. If you are vegetarian however, there is very little to eat, so bring food preferably or eat before coming here. Can do most of the square by walk within 1 - 2 hours. Gets hot as there is very little air circulation within the square...but lots of shops with cold air conditioning to cool you down!
  • Its a nice place to spend some time and admire the Portuguese architecture buildings and proceed to ruins of St. Paul church. Easily approachable by taxi. Many local food joints on the way to ruins of St. Paul church.
  • The aesthetic is definitely appealing but is certainly disturbed by the massive crowds and rude people. Macau was known to be a very romantic place back in the day, but today it is just too commercialised, too expensive and just not worth your time. Nevertheless there are a few hidden gems around the area. Although it may take some digging to do.
  • Very scenic place, but mostly filled with touristic stores and shops in the main square. Unless you want to shop international brands, I recommend passing through to find more interesting parts of town.
  • This place is one of the major tourist pitstops in Macau. Be prepared to be amazed with the amazing street designs. I was also surprised to see good deals among street vendors here.
