Hard Rock Casino, Macau

3.7
#6 of 19 in Fun & Games in Macau
Gamble the night away and grab a hearty meal while you're at it at Hard Rock Casino, featuring halls littered with rock memorabilia and offering a menu of American-style burgers and fries. Though it offers little more than craps and slots, the casino provides a less-crowded experience than the more popular Macau hot spots. A pleasant surprise to many, the casino features non-smoking areas. To visit Hard Rock Casino on your holiday in Macau, and find out what else Macau has to offer, use our Macau sightseeing tool .

  • Here you will feel relatively calm in the is Casino in Cotai is always many tourists, crowded. So new Casino interior is perfectly nice. About losing a sense of direction is small indeed compared to the Venetian Casino, medium in size, it is comfortable.

  • All of the casinos we visited in Macau were pretty similar, so this review would cover them all. Casinos were gorgeous: Immaculate, calm, partitioned off from anyone not old enough to gamble, etc. And...  more »

  • This HRC is within the Hard Rock Hotel, and it is very nice. It is large, clean and didn't smell of smoke. We only visited for drinks and the service was fast and the barman very polite. Good memorabilia to view. The rock shop had some nice unique shirts.
  • Fantastic decoration and atmosphere, food is only soso except for the ribs, the ribs are really yummy!
  • Went here to meet some friends based in Macau. Food is great, staff is very helpful and attentive. The live band is good at times, and interesting.
  • Liked food. Food portion was a little too much for two of us. The host could have suggested before taking order.
  • Fantastic atmosphere, with a great rocking band who got the customers dancing during their set. We just had a beer which was very reasonably priced. Recommended.

Where to stay in Macau

Cotai Strip in Macau offers luxury hotels, with famous names providing rooms looking out over the harbor and down into the historical center. Establishments in this area also feature onsite entertainment options and Vegas-style casinos. Look for more affordable options north of Nam Van Lake, where chain and boutique hotels provide rooms with views of the city, the harbor, and across to China proper. Head farther north for lower rates offered by hostels and apartment rentals.
