Fortune Diamond at Galaxy Macau, Macau

4.1
#21 of 223 in Things to do in Macau
Visible across all of Macau, and said to be the world's largest laser show, Fortune Diamond at Galaxy Macau is an impressive technical spectacle. The main feature of the show here is that the lights trained on the building and waterfall move in time with the music, as a set of performers dance a short routine to the tune. After the show, check out the casino, or sample one of the plentiful choices in the food court. Galaxy resort place to play so many various themes decorate many. When waywei, coincided with his theme exhibitions in rabbit, funny cartoon characters at the hotel throughout, children came to the hotel will be very interesting. Design of modern yet classical flavor, golden decoration is full of fantasy. Macau every resort has its own unique performance, Galaxy Hotel special Grand and shocking, the milky way feel you don't have enough time, and every time I go to has a different surprise.

I guess this hotel is typical of any luxury hotel attached to a casino. Looks grand and so far the upkeep seems to be very good. Check-in service is a bit of a gamble, if you happen to arrive at peak check-in time (13:00 - 16:00). However, if you have booked a suite rooms or better you can check-in at the private area. Pictures are from the lift lobby, 1 bedroom suite and a deluxe twin room.

This gigantic casino has an incredible crystal-filled lobby. Definitely worth checking out. Also, they are partnered with the Star World (directly across from the Wynn) and you can catch a free shuttle there.

Honestly, 3D2N stay @ Galaxy Suite was never enough. Pampered by their VIP-service begin from Seven who helped me out with my 2 big luggage and Krystal who assisted me with check-in registration, staff at reception were all polite & welcoming. Secondly very satisfied with the cleaniness of the living room and bedroom. A well-stocked complimentary daily Minibar fridge and a Nespresso Coffee Machine added a pleasant stay. Housekeeper was attentive and thoughtful. Great Wifi, individual LCD TV provided in living room, bedroom and bathroom & a Corby Pant Press machine in the bedroom impressed me. The whole Galaxy was big and elegance. I will definitely come back for a longer stay to explore more and to have even more fun at Grand Resort Deck. Grateful to Annie upon checkout and Jason for his assistance with my luggage. Thank you to the whole team for making my Anniversary celebration memorable and delightful.

Where to stay in Macau

Cotai Strip in Macau offers luxury hotels, with famous names providing rooms looking out over the harbor and down into the historical center. Establishments in this area also feature onsite entertainment options and Vegas-style casinos. Look for more affordable options north of Nam Van Lake, where chain and boutique hotels provide rooms with views of the city, the harbor, and across to China proper. Head farther north for lower rates offered by hostels and apartment rentals.
