Fortune Diamond at Galaxy Macau, Macau

4.1
#21 of 222 in Things to do in Macau
Visible across all of Macau, and said to be the world's largest laser show, Fortune Diamond at Galaxy Macau is an impressive technical spectacle. The main feature of the show here is that the lights trained on the building and waterfall move in time with the music, as a set of performers dance a short routine to the tune. After the show, check out the casino, or sample one of the plentiful choices in the food court. • You cannot go wrong with this resort. One of the best hotel resorts so far that we have been to and stayed at. Suites are large and clean. It is relatively new hotel. Water park resort is the best spot in this hotel. People with kids would love it even more but adults would enjoy equally. Shuttle bus service to airport is quite handy. Plenty of food/restaurants in the resort. Will definitely go back.
  • My girlfriend and I decided to stay here for our two day Macau trip and we can safely say we got our money's worth. The hotel and premesis itself is amazing and definitely a reason enough to stay. However what really stood out was the customer service. Generally speaking, the service in Macau can be poor at times and good English speakers can be hard to find. Galaxy has probably the best customer service in all of China. Extremely friendly, helpful and going an extra mile to help us out. A particular shout out to Marc (from the Philippines) who works at the front for not only making our stay as nice as possible but for also remembering both our names. We were extremely pleased with his service. Would definitely recommend and stay here again. Five stars.
  • Good 5 star hotel with lots of shops and food and drink choices. Very convenient for Old Taipa which is a very short walk. Only criticism is quality of finished and maintenance should be better in a high end property.
  • The best place you can stay for your money! Highly recommend! Exceptional service from all staff members and our hotel room was serviced twice in a day! Complete surprise. What you get gor the money is unheard of. Highly recommend! Water park/ features are super fun. We were kucky to go in November and barely any people there got the whole water rides to ourselves!
  • The best in Macau. You can spend your stay with food court, wave pool, shopping mall and casino! And you can get almost everywhere(in Taipa, Cotai) by Galaxy hotel operating free shuttle bus. Amazing hotel and astonishing services! Greatly recommended.

Where to stay in Macau

Cotai Strip in Macau offers luxury hotels, with famous names providing rooms looking out over the harbor and down into the historical center. Establishments in this area also feature onsite entertainment options and Vegas-style casinos. Look for more affordable options north of Nam Van Lake, where chain and boutique hotels provide rooms with views of the city, the harbor, and across to China proper. Head farther north for lower rates offered by hostels and apartment rentals.
