Cathedral Square, Macau
(2.8/5 based on 65+ reviews on the web)
Take a breather in the midst of a historical and cultural center surrounded by colonial-era architecture at Cathedral Square. Accompanied by the calming sound of running water coming from the central fountain, take a seat on one of the square's benches and observe the people, churches, and palaces surrounding you. If you do some exploring, look for two additional fountains surrounded by 19th-century tiled murals created by artist George Chinnery. Pick up a few souvenirs at the square or purchase refreshments at nearby cafes and restaurants while enjoying the ambience. • The area is near a large Catholic Church. This place is a must visit for everyone who travels to Macau S.A.R.. Located in the historic district. Near most historical attractions, pedestrian streets, small markets, souvenir shops. On the square is a small but very beautiful fountain and place where you can sit and relax.
