Heihu Spring, Jinan

4.6
#2 of 13 in Nature in Jinan
Hot Spring Nature / Park
Refresh yourself with crystal clear water from the source at Heihu Spring--one of the 72 sacred springs found in the city. The spring supplies the community with fresh water, for drinking and other uses. Water cascades from a cliff, finally spouting through three stone-carved tiger heads and into a pool. On hot days, you may see a few locals swimming in the adjacent river or cooling off inside the spring's pool. Take a pleasant walk by the moat, get some water, and inspect the giant tiger statues that adorn the vicinity of the spring. Don't forget to bring an empty plastic bottle along. For travelers who use our world travel planner, Jinan holidays become easier to arrange, with trips to the Heihu Spring and other attractions mapped out and timetabled.
