  • A natural cavity of remarkable beauty. You reach the parking lot with a walk of about 10 minutes. The ceiling of the entrance is covered with Tibetan prayers as place of worship. A well-marked trail leads inside the cave, a majestic hollows studded with stalactites and stalagmites of every shape and size and crossed by a river for almost its entire length. The output can be done with Dragon-shaped boats from the bow. This aspect, combined with disco lights that illuminate the cave, are the reason why I don't give top marks to this wonderful site that from natural spectacle and place of worship could be transformed into a freak show.

  • We reached the cave after visiting the next town after visiting the city. Yunnan in the far more impressive and another point against this cave you must be attached to a guided tour to enjoy the lights or just dark cave. In the end with a boat to enter and you can see the display of local climbers on a cliff "to" bring the swallow's nest for cooking. If you're in the area and get time and if not look for other notes.

  • An interesting place to visit with access by boat or by foot. There are stalactite and stalagmite formations throughout the caves which are beautifully lit up. Some resemble animals and are named as such. Sometimes referred to as Swift caves as well as Swallow caves, the place was once the place where nests were harvested for bird's nest soup. At the entrance to the caves are the names of the intrepid climbers who once had to scale the high cliffs to collect the nests. Nowadays, while the birds still nest in the caves, collecting the nests, hanging signs and climbing is very much put on for the tourists. Each August 8th, 9th and 10th the “Bird Nest Festival” is held. Some local people will climb up the precipitous cliffs to fetch nests. During the three days, many people gather here to attend the risky but exciting event. Worth a visit if you're in the area.
  • Worth visiting, god's creature. However, it is not easy to get there by public transportation. Self-driving is highly recommended.
