  • Yoho Mall I is confusing for locals because it's easily confused with Yoho Mall II. That's because Yoho Mall I was built *after* Yoho Mall II. So remember the numbers of the Mall are opposite of when they were built. Yoho Mall I is the second mall and Yoho Mall II is the first one. That said, Yoho Mall I is the most upscale mall that Yuen Long has ever had. If you have the money to spend, go for it. If you aren't into spending HK$200+ per person per meal, this isn't the place for you. For quality snacks and lighter on the budget, you have to try Garrett Popcorn. Yoho Mall I also has a stone ice cream eatery...as far as I know the only one in Yuen Long.
  • Yoho mall II has more shops and restaurants. More of them are the chain stores. Anyway, it is the most decent mall in Yuen Long.
  • Quite nice. Good selection of restaurants
  • Nice and quiet, some parts are still under construction.
  • Located right above the light rail terminal and there is a direct connection to the MTR station. It comes handy as a mid stop by. It is a shopping mall targeting brand purchasing customers. All shops are branded shops from clothing to eateries. Not a shopping space for local small shops. However, there are plenty of that along the streets in Yuen Long. Waiting for the upgrade improvement between Yoho mall 1 and Yoho mall 2. Right now, the walk via open footbridge is quite long. It is suffering during summer times. Would be good if there is a large supermarket located inside Yoho Mall 1, that will make life perfect for commuters who go pass this shopping mall daily.

Where to stay in Hong Kong

Head to Tsim Sha Tsui for the main tourist section of Hong Kong, where it's easy to find reasonably priced accommodations to suit your particular requirements, with more expensive hotels closer to the water and side streets offering budget hostels. You can also consider Hong Kong Island, which offers easy links to the mainland via its ferry and train lines. Chain hotels sit in the northern section of the island, where luxury and budget options remain available.
