(4.6/5 based on 20+ reviews on the web)
Challenge yourself with a hike up Tai Mo Shan, the highest peak of Hong Kong. Leave the city hustle and climb or drive all the way to the 957 meter (3139 feet) summit. The surrounding park is a wildlife haven, with a variety of bird and butterfly species. Trek the many scenic trails, with varying difficulty levels and different viewpoints offering stunning vistas of lush green plantations and surrounding islands. The coldest place in Hong Kong, this area sees snowfall during cold spells. Facilities such as campsites, grills, information centers, and toilets are available, but no cafes or restaurants, so bring your own food supplies.
