Sai kung East Country Park, Hong Kong

4.7
#21 of 107 in Parks in Hong Kong
Sai kung East Country Park, occupying vast swaths of the region, has plentiful opportunities for hiking, swimming, and diving within its pristine blue waters, white sandy beaches, and lush green national forest. Only accessible by speedboat or a hike, the area has stayed relatively untouched, which makes it a fairly exclusive destination. If you're feeling adventurous, head 30 minutes west of the beach on foot for a popular activity: diving from the top of a 6 m (19 ft) waterfall into the pool below. Once you get to the main beaches, there are several bars under leafy canopies serving refreshing drinks to cool you down after a long hike. I walked in the hike. Comes on the road outside maint rail was crowded buses on the road during the holidays so quickly that will quiet mountain roads during the. Have become main again and we will flush. Macri Horse trail section 1 and 2 is skipped one went by taxi is better. Its sea and island views are great, but not shaded concrete path still hot now. In the summer water supply please note No such outlets, so.

Oh my goodness. This is one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen on this planet. I did a 15-20 minute hike to the beach and was greatly rewarded. The pictures don't even do it justice.

Best beaches in Hong Kong by far. Great places to get away from the city but plan ahead, lack of taxi and cellular signal can lead to a marthon walk.

Some great hiking here, that I would recommend. If you have the time also consider beach camping on Ham Tim.

Perfect place in Hong Kong to get closer to nature. Mountains and the sea are right next to each other!

Where to stay in Hong Kong

Head to Tsim Sha Tsui for the main tourist section of Hong Kong, where it's easy to find reasonably priced accommodations to suit your particular requirements, with more expensive hotels closer to the water and side streets offering budget hostels. You can also consider Hong Kong Island, which offers easy links to the mainland via its ferry and train lines. Chain hotels sit in the northern section of the island, where luxury and budget options remain available.
