Old Peak Road, Hong Kong

(4.7/5 based on 45+ reviews on the web)
Traversing the uphill route along Old Peak Road serves as a challenging workout, but the payoff rewards trekkers with magnificent views of the surrounding vista and national park. The dense foliage lining this narrow, winding road makes the route scenic and gives it an "old" Hong Kong-type feel. With the high levels of heat and humidity here and the steepness of the road, bring plenty of water as well as sturdy walking boots. Recommendations encourage only experienced or fit trekkers to attempt this path. Make Old Peak Road a centerpiece of your Hong Kong vacation itinerary, and find what else is worth visiting using our Hong Kong vacation route planner.

  • After "The Peak" climbed on the bus, the tram was so crowded that, walking, try going down. First how far down in it? Go through the byways of the great houses, such as was said, and eventually Moon down to tram station. Interesting trekking along the way, enjoy views of the skyscrapers of Hong Kong S.A.R., whimsical feeling.

  • I went to see the sunrise from the Victoria 1/1/2017 is abandoned in overcast skies. Found when worried by either tram or bus on the way home. Down one hour was a nice bit of hiking and relaxing motion.
