An amusement and marine animal park with a huge variety of sea-themed rides on offer, Ocean Park attracts millions each year. This sprawling complex combines amusement rides with marine mammal shows. A large mountain separates the grounds into two parts--waterfront and summit--with a cable car running between them. Enjoy a ride up the funicular to reach the peak's attractions and panoramic views. • I was told about this place by a fellow passenger on a cruise ship. As we were spending two separate days in Hong Kong we decided to catch the train out to Ocean Park. It was a superbly sunny day for ...  more »
  • The park is quite huge and has various activities for all ages. Usually on Halloween they convert the rides to feature scary attractions. The park has free wifi access when I visited. However the ride...  more »
  • It was my birthday in May this year, and I went to the left Ocean Park with a huge crowd and a lot of tourists. I'm just playing a few games, and it's not going to be 諗 in a row.

  • The staff in there are really polite and friendly. They will help the visitor to locate your position if you ask them. Moreover, the cable cars in there is pretty good. The views that you can look are underestimated and you haven't think about it .I think that the maintenance fee of the cable car must be very expensive. The cable car is the facilities in the park that I like the most. In this park ,I have got lots of good experience.I hope that the park can attract more and more tourists and keep going for the best.
  • I would come back here in a heart beat! If I were 65 years old, I'd live in this neighborhood so I can come by 24/7. The aquarium is unlike any other I've ever seen. The roller coasters were also super fun!
  • Ocean Park provides a great way to learn, especially about nature and the animals. It is a great way for the kids and adults to bond and create a harmonic relationship with our surroundings.
  • Went here on a Sunday and as expected, it was crowded. However, we managed to cover most of the park. Had booked tickets via klook to get it at a discount. The highlight for me was the cable car ride from the Waterfront to the Summit and back. The views of the sea from the Summit were breath-taking. They had well-maintained themed areas within the park. The water rides at the Summit were amazing. Only issues were with crowd management as a lot of people did not regard the queues formed for rides and the food served here was very average for the price charged. We managed to catch a glimpse of penguins and the giant panda. Overall, it was a great experience and would recommend it to people of all ages. One full day would be required to cover Ocean Park completely. It would be good to get here early to beat the crowd.
  • Good rides and nice views all around. So good to enjoy the scenery while on crazy rides. Try going on weekdays if possible to avoid the crowd. Minus 1 star for the expensive tickets.

Where to stay in Hong Kong

Head to Tsim Sha Tsui for the main tourist section of Hong Kong, where it's easy to find reasonably priced accommodations to suit your particular requirements, with more expensive hotels closer to the water and side streets offering budget hostels. You can also consider Hong Kong Island, which offers easy links to the mainland via its ferry and train lines. Chain hotels sit in the northern section of the island, where luxury and budget options remain available.
