  • For me the most underrated spot in Hongkong. It's so special and beautiful. Awesome view across every where description of 5 elements of the world. Big Buddha is Iconic and gives u classic feeling. Very safe to and from Cable cars... Ebenezer Kebabs were handy @top of the hill.
  • Very scenic vistas if you take the cable car and you will be pleasantly surprised to find one or two graves on top of a hill. The area around the Buddha statue has quite a few restaurants and trinkets/souvenirs shops to make your visit more memorable.
  • Spectacular route. Doesn't matter if there is mist (mist gave even more mysterious character). Mind that the crystal cabin is much more popular, but it has transparent floor. Regular cabin will be somewhat faster, as the queues are shorter.
  • It was a nice experience to have watched the lion dance performance at Ngong Ping Village as Chinese New Year celebration. However, as expected the volume of people has given long waiting time because of the long queues (approx. 30-40 minutes) to get to the village by cable car. Unless you do not want to be in human traffic, then do not plan to go there on public holidays. The weather is cool anyway and thus enjoying the chilly breeze will be a plus factor during February month trip in Hong Kong.
  • Great, Spectacular, or Whatever I say about this ride is very good. We went in a Crystal Cabin, It's a little bit costly. But great views of greenery, water, hills and the Big Buddha view. I think if possible we have to by this cable car, in different seasons , to enjoy the beauty. Misty, Scenic, Spiritual, Beautiful, Enjoyable....................................... It's the worlds 10 best cable car rides.
