Mongkok, Hong Kong
Categories: Neighborhoods, Tourist Spots
The crowds and the bright neon lights of retail stores keep Mongkok throbbing with energy all through the day and night. The district is one of Hong Kong's most congested shopping and residential areas, filled with many stores and eateries at street level, and commercial or residential spaces above. Recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records as the world's busiest district, this neighborhood preserves its unique identity with a selection of outdoor markets, small shops, and food vendors rarely found in other parts of Hong Kong.
