MacLehose Trail, Hong Kong

4.6
#3 of 20 in Trails in Hong Kong
An excellent antidote to the hustle and bustle of Hong Kong, wind through valleys, rugged peaks, and pristine ocean coastlines on your hike along MacLehose Trail. Spanning a total of 100 km (62 mi), this is not a trail to complete in one day: choose one of the smaller, more manageable sections. Please be aware that not all parts of the trail have public transport, so research your chosen route well, and pack lots of water and food. Work out when and for how long to visit MacLehose Trail and other Hong Kong attractions using our handy Hong Kong vacation builder.

It is you can feel natural sea and mountain hiking trails. Because only the lower note in the heat. There is no walk is one of the most walking the road from section.1 walked in one night 二日 3 is required. It is a great course with various shore whenever over the pass 2. Course through the rustic seaside village is 3. It is better in the section.2 Coast a little shop with some resupply almost I realized I couldn't. Also these shores can in tent for the night and spent one night in the tent for the night. People who come in the more I made camping family camping, BBQ, my climbing traverse style I was like. But more varied, such as campgrounds, so loud late at night. Originally climbed on the second day of sharp peak is the weather is not good and not physically tired the day before, gave Agenc IE. Physically for me, hope the strong impression that you could feel especially SECTION.2 early disconcerted in the up-down pass at the peak of the heat and fatigue are further aspects of Hong Kong S.A.R., good to go.

Where to stay in Hong Kong

Head to Tsim Sha Tsui for the main tourist section of Hong Kong, where it's easy to find reasonably priced accommodations to suit your particular requirements, with more expensive hotels closer to the water and side streets offering budget hostels. You can also consider Hong Kong Island, which offers easy links to the mainland via its ferry and train lines. Chain hotels sit in the northern section of the island, where luxury and budget options remain available.
