  • Quiet beaches, scenic is far away. Weekday evenings could hardly people, slowly enjoyed a quiet Hong Kong S.A.R. until sunset. Also occasionally seen off the coast of the Macau S.A.R. ferry. At the bus stop in front of Ngong Ping and the Macau University units, was good.

  • Top 3 beaches in Hong Kong. Watch out for the stray cow manure! Easier to get a cab from the ferry terminal (mui wo) than the MTR stop (tung chin).
  • Filthy. The beach is too covered in trash to enjoy and the water is worse. The only saving grace is that there are a few shops and restaurants to take refuge from the refuse.
  • One of the best beaches in HK, it's a bit of a trek but well worth it if you are looking for the perfect beach day. There are showers, restaurants, kayak/SUP rentals and campsites. If lower Cheung Sha Beach gets a little too crowded, then scramble up and over the rocks to upper Cheung Sha beach which is unspoilt.
  • Why was there so much garbage in the ocean? What a sad disappointment
  • Beach was pretty dirty and water was obscure when I visited this June. The main beach house complex is not directly close to a public transportation (about 10 min to walk). Close to the complex there are various restaurants to have a cold drink, small snack or dinner.
