Lippo Centre, Hong Kong

3.3
Lippo Centre remains one of the defining modern architectural landmarks of Hong Kong's glistening skyline. The octagonal shape with its walls of refractive blue glass was designed by American architect Paul Rudolph, who wanted the building to have an ever-changing appearance depending on the light and view perspective. There isn't much to do at the office towers themselves besides visiting a bookshop and a few eateries on the ground floor. Take a photo or simply observe the towers as you explore the rest of the city. Using our custom trip planner, Hong Kong attractions like Lippo Centre can form part of a personalized travel itinerary.

Although we do not visit it inside, if we saw it from the outside, attracted by the originality of its construction. Actually, the complex is composed of two twin buildings of different heights. Its forms are very characteristic and that's why these buildings compared to "trees for koalas," because when you look at them, with a little imagination, it seems that you're seeing koalas climbing up a tree, which in this case is the building itself. Certainly it is worth approaching to see these buildings closely. If in addition, more time is available, it is possible to see some magnificent murals bas-reliefs in the lobby. Greetings to all travelers.
