o take the ferry to Yung Shue Wan (go not very frequent, so look up times and your departure good plans) o Yung Shue Wan is a cute little village. o follow the trail (reasonably easy to find dmv signs) to the other side of the island, to the village of Sok Kwo Wan. Nice walk through nature, along beaches and coves. Approximately 1.5 hours, to do good, mainly flat. o Sock Kwo Wan is in a beautiful Bay. o visit there the Chinese temple o on the waterfront filled seafood restaurants where you can eat excellent and cheap. o Take the ferry from Sok Kwo Wan back to the city (regular).

Where to stay in Hong Kong

Head to Tsim Sha Tsui for the main tourist section of Hong Kong, where it's easy to find reasonably priced accommodations to suit your particular requirements, with more expensive hotels closer to the water and side streets offering budget hostels. You can also consider Hong Kong Island, which offers easy links to the mainland via its ferry and train lines. Chain hotels sit in the northern section of the island, where luxury and budget options remain available.
