Kowloon Park, Hong Kong

4.2
#9 of 143 in Parks in Hong Kong
Escape the hubbub of the city and head to Kowloon Park, in the center of Tsim Sha Tsui. The former site of British army barracks, this spot was redeveloped into a large park in 1970 and now features Chinese-style decorations and buildings, gardens, and scenic spots for relaxation. Stroll along the pathways leading through the lush greenery to spot colorful birds and flowers of all types. If you're looking for recreation, the park features a sports center, public pool, soccer pitch, and other facilities. • It is a park along Nathan Road. Are a lot of people doing Tai Chi, also look fun. Like I did an animation event, even young people like cartoons in the Hong Kong S.A.R. lot coming.

  • Such a wonderful area. It is a park/recreation center located in the middle of down town. It is so large that you can get lost in the middle and not even hear the cars on the street. Everything is well maintained and cleaned with regular maintenance. They have an aviary that is free to visit along with a soccer field for anyone to use. There are also several pens that house interesting birds like flamingos. Definitely take a couple hours to walk the winding paths, you won't regret it.
  • When visiting Tim Sha Tsui, this is a must visit. In the center of the concrete jungle, this is such a surprise. It's beautiful. The views are stunning, the aviary is very eclectic, and it's just a great feeling taking time away to just be. Its popular with tourists, but you see quite a few locals there too. Wish there were more like this in other parts of the world.
  • A wonderful spot to visit. In the heart of one of the busiest areas of Hong Kong is Kowloon Park. There are many walking areas and places to sit and enjoy the parks serene nature. The pond with the fish and birds is wonderful to see as there are flamingos, ducks and cranes all present. The area is vast and there is even a Chinese style pagoda which you can visit. It is one of my favourite parks in Hong Kong, this and Hong Kong Park.
  • Big park in the city. Open in early morning, you can jocking and walk around the park. Clean toilet. You can acroos the bridge to see ferry port near the park. Nice view, good atmosphere. Many cat in the park.
  • Nice park "hidden" inside the crowd of the city. You can find different types of trees and a small labyrinth. A calm place to be.
