IFC mall, Hong Kong

4.0
#10 of 242 in Shopping in Hong Kong
Shopping Mall Architectural Building
IFC mall is a good place to break your journey with shopping or dining at a large complex housing over 200 stores. The shops and restaurants are pricy, so consider bringing your own food for a picnic in the big public space on the roof garden. Catching a movie in the mall's theater remains a great way to escape the rain and heat of the summer months. Where to stay in Hong Kong

Head to Tsim Sha Tsui for the main tourist section of Hong Kong, where it's easy to find reasonably priced accommodations to suit your particular requirements, with more expensive hotels closer to the water and side streets offering budget hostels. You can also consider Hong Kong Island, which offers easy links to the mainland via its ferry and train lines. Chain hotels sit in the northern section of the island, where luxury and budget options remain available.

  • Go to the top of the mall. Walk out and you get a great view of the Victoria harbor. This mall is nice and big. A must visit location.
  • Just like the other IFC malls throughout Asia this doesn't disappoint. Immaculately clean and bright with a massive selection of designer stores and boutiques
  • Take some beer and wine to the 4th floor and watch the light show and great city views
  • Absolutely packed with tourists and locals alike, particularly during the holiday season or weekends. The low ceilings in most corridors make the noisy crowd unbearable. The touchscreen directory service was poorly designed, displaying restaurants by their logos or names only, rather than explaining what cuisine each one offered. It did not matter that there is a great selection of stores (including most big-name luxury brands) here because just staying in this mall was unpleasant.
  • Nice high end mall. Good location.
