Discover the history and future of astronomy and space science at Hong Kong Space Museum, a popular cultural institution designed to appeal to visitors who are new to this galaxy, as well as those who have been here for awhile now. The on-site planetarium, set over 8,000 sq m (86,111 sq ft) of exhibition space, offers a detailed introduction to our galaxy and beyond, while the two main museum halls—one dedicated to astronomy, the other to space science—provide extensive arrays of artifacts and information panels. Be sure to check out the replica of the nose and cockpit of the Space Shuttle orbiter, an exhibit that captures the imagination of visitors young and old. • Because the hotel is very close, so take the child to stroll around, almost all of the installation repair, only the film can be seen, and then buy the ticket. Popular Science short film, Time is very brief, but the whole house half circle roof is the screen, the effect is very good, there is a three-D shuttle effect, the baby has been asking mom we are not flying, when to land ~ Heart damage

  • We spent half a day at the Science Museum. Not as good as the one in Toronto but pretty good. Interactive displays which the grandkids loved.  more »
  • Since the Space Museum is an egg, there is a chequered, usually called the pineapple. The pineapple has a large number of models with exhibits such as space clothing, space food, and shuttle exhibition halls. You can buy the next century before you go!

  • The place was awesome. The spherical done screen is used to project the film. However there in no too much of thrilling experience. Most part of the film was filled with conversation. My 5 year old son actually had a good sleep during the show.
  • great exhibits. Wish they had chairs while we waited for movie to begin. Kids enter for free, adults & older children pay HKD$20 each
  • Unfortunately it was getting refurnished so we didn't get to see much of the exhibition. But we watched the Aurora on the doom screen which was amazing. Very good quality. Very good price for this. I would recommend this.
  • Nothing special to say. Its just a museum situated near to victoria harbour. They are conducting some regular shows entry by fees in a 180 degree screen.
  • Must go place if you love space. The movie is awesome
