Covering an area of 8 hectares (20 acres), the park is nestled among modern skyscrapers, in a location once occupied by British colonial barracks. Many examples of the original Victorian architecture are still preserved within the park. Other highlights include Hong Kong's largest aviary and a greenhouse housing a selection of exotic plants. • Very nice place - feels like you are miles from the city and yet you can see all the skyline at all times. Nice themes in the park and its clean og very well kept. GO THERE  more »
  • The abundance and management of public open spaces in Hong Kong is super impressive, if one were to select a single public open space in Hong Kong to visit it would be Hong Kong Park combined with the...  more »
  • We went right so to case: is fantastic, woe is not a ride. There is a huge aviary with tropical birds and not, a waterfall with a small river that is home to turtles, fish and aquatic plants. Then a grove of flowering plants with many large butterflies flying around. Would be a very long review if I wanted to write down everything I liked! Discover it yourself this island of paradise. Avoid Sundays: go into making pictures for weddings, graduations and more.

  • Wonderful and we'll maintained park in the central business district. Walking distance from Central MTR. Partially shuts down around 6pm. Be careful with tic bites. Recommend spraying an insect repellent on open skin or cover yourself properly
  • Every time we visit Hong Kong, we like to spend some hours here. Our favorites are fountain plaza, conservatory and the aviaries. But the last time, it's the memorial status of the dedicated health workers in the Tai Chi Garden catching my eyes. My highest respect to those people who scarified their lives for others.
  • great place to relax, with small park, wster fountain, restaurant and snacks kiosk...also a museum of tea ware and marriage registry located there.
  • Beautiful Park in the city! You will not be disappointed with this park set between the skyscrapers. Spend an hour to many hours exploring.
  • Excellent park in the city. Lots of things to see and do! Very clean and well maintained. Excellent views! Food options are a bit limited. Must visit for locals and tourists alike!

Where to stay in Hong Kong

Head to Tsim Sha Tsui for the main tourist section of Hong Kong, where it's easy to find reasonably priced accommodations to suit your particular requirements, with more expensive hotels closer to the water and side streets offering budget hostels. You can also consider Hong Kong Island, which offers easy links to the mainland via its ferry and train lines. Chain hotels sit in the northern section of the island, where luxury and budget options remain available.
