  • Perfect with kids. Little indoor gardens plus aviary (birds) - there are plenty of them and they come really close. Our daughter loved it. All for free. Very nice playground.  more »
  • Although it was a dreary day when I visited, the HK park made for a nice change of scenery. Loads of water and green in combination with a free museum and many animals. Would certainly recommend it, I...  more »
  • in the middle of town and skyscraper, this park features small waterfalls, many birds and the people who work in the central region, often lead to packed lunch to eat at lunch time in this park.

  • Fell in love with this place! Beautiful and green! Exotic birds are singing there. Small pretty fishes in the lake with sea turtles around! Nice waterfall also is so great. It’s like Eden on earth. If you’re planning to go to Hong Kong then this is must see place. Also there is a good point with a view of the city.
  • Beautiful park in the middle of Central. It’s amazing how you begin to feel like you’re in another city/not in Hong Kong while you walk through here. Quiet compared to the main streets and hustle and bustle. Highly recommend the Visual Arts building and the Aviary if you have a great quality camera. Easy to spend and hour or two relaxing here!
  • MY FAVORITE URBAN PARK IN THE ENTIRE WORLD. Small, but it feels bigger. You can feel as if you’re in a tropical garden and not the center of a major city. A great place for a picnic lunch. The tea house is amazing. And the aviary is not to be missed.
  • Hong Kong is short on space, particularly gardens. Hong Kong Park is one of the better ones. Close to a large shopping mall called Pacific Place and hotels, HK Park is an oasis, with quiet spots to sit and ponds and water falls and fountains, as well as a Tea Museum an a heritage traditional tea cafe. And a wonderfully well cared for aviary. Could spent a few hours here
  • The Tea Museum is a great air-conditioned place with beautiful tea ware and showcases the art of tea drinking. Then a stroll through the park with amazing photos of the high rises through the waterfall. Ending with a stroll through the aviary and down to a bus or taxi at the Peak Tram terminal. Lovely day out!

Where to stay in Hong Kong

Head to Tsim Sha Tsui for the main tourist section of Hong Kong, where it's easy to find reasonably priced accommodations to suit your particular requirements, with more expensive hotels closer to the water and side streets offering budget hostels. You can also consider Hong Kong Island, which offers easy links to the mainland via its ferry and train lines. Chain hotels sit in the northern section of the island, where luxury and budget options remain available.
