Don't miss the chance to visit Hong Kong Park, a natural oasis right in the center of the city. Covering an area of 8 hectares (20 acres), the park is nestled among modern skyscrapers, in a location once occupied by British colonial barracks. Many examples of the original Victorian architecture are still preserved within the park. Other highlights include Hong Kong's largest aviary and a greenhouse housing a selection of exotic plants. The park includes numerous facilities, including basketball courts, squash center, and playgrounds for children. With our custom trip planner, Hong Kong attractions like Hong Kong Park can be center stage of your vacation plans, and you can find out about other attractions like it, unlike it, near it, and miles away.

Hong Kong Park Reviews

This is an oasis within the business district. Great to stroll around during the morning hours when the traffic is still slow. The tea house is worth to take a look too. more »

more »
A park that often goes to the mountains on weekends, with flowers and birds gardens and zoos. In central Admiralty such a land-inch gold financial center, backed by mountains can have such a leisurely green space is really great. The birding Park is open to the public for free, with more than 600 birds from all over the world. The feeling is still very beautiful, basically maintained a relatively good ecological environment. A good choice for a trip to Hong Kong.View original -
There is a tea museum (free) an extension wax seal museum (free but not obvious on the first floor of the adjoining tea house restaurant) an aviary and botanical house (also free) and other stuff. Thi... more »

Nice greenery amongst the buildings in Admiralty, great place for a walk for people of all ages, there is even a restaurant in the park. Lovely on a sunny day, but it would get hot and sticky in summer, so remember to bring a hat, bug spray and sunscreen if staying in the sun is the plan. Easy access to the park entrance from Pacific Place, as you walk upwards, you can see fish ponds, a children's playground and at the top, there are even some monkeys (in a cage of course), so lots to do, could definitely spend a good half day there, or a full day if you have children, but make sure you pack a picnic for the hike.

I love the aviary which you can walk into! Watch out for bird poo but they say it’s lucky anyway! A great place to go before losing yourself in Pacific Place! Also some quiet places to forget you are in the hustle and bustle of Hong Kong!

One of the places you have to visit when you go to Hong Kong. The park is vast with lots to do and see. Good walking areas and plenty to enjoy for the taste buds. Try the tea house in the park as it is a sensation. The amazing thing about this park is that it is an oasis surrounded by massive sky scrapers including the bank of China building. You will enjoy this park as it is one I have been to a few times and I will be back again.

Fell in love with this place! Beautiful and green! Exotic birds are singing there. Small pretty fishes in the lake with sea turtles around! Nice waterfall also is so great. It’s like Eden on earth. If you’re planning to go to Hong Kong then this is must see place. Also there is a good point with a view of the city.

I was surprised all admittances to the attractions at the park from the aviary to the botanical garden and to the Museum of Tea Wear were free of charge. You need to be wearing comfortable shoes because you will be going up and down the mountain following the pathways almost throughout the park. Be prepared to see brides and grooms with their families taking pictures around the scenic park as the Marriage Registry is located in the park itself! Very interesting.
