Hong Kong’s answer to the London Eye, Hong Kong Observation Wheel gives spectacular views over Victoria Harbour and the whole region, as it stands 60 m (196 ft). The 42 gondolas on the wheel include plush seating and WiFi, and seat eight passengers at a time--making this a family-friendly adventure in the skies. Local shops nearby offer snacks in the plaza so you can fill up before you board the wheel. The observation wheel is well worth the price. The ride was 30 minutes long and we completed 4 loops, allowing for great views of the city skyline, the carnival next door, and the harbor. Each carriage holds around 10 adults comfortably. The ride is open day and night, running until 11pm, but is best experienced after dark.

Waited an hour to get on to the ride. It is good because it is not expensive at all, but not much of a scene. The Ferris is not that tall. Have to go on the ride with 3 other couples. We were just facing each other face to face awkwardly. Kind of stuck looking at the side we sat on. The other sides we have to look through the couples to see. Kind of wanted more personal space.
-
You will get a relaxing 15 minutes hanging in the wheel. On top of that, you will see the beautiful skyline of Hong Kong Island at different times of the day! The best time to go is just before sunset so you get to witness the color changing of the sky and the skyscrapers and most importantly the amazing lights of the buildings.

Nice location on the Victoria Harbor. Wait was ok but no clear directions to the ticket counter. Anyways the ride was worth the wait. The wheel turns much faster than the London Eye or the one in Yokohama. They gave us 3 turns. Worth the price. Good for first time visitors in Hong Kong. Kids will love it.
-
5 stars since it is the tallest Observation Wheel in HK. It has a good view of the harbour. It is a temporary structure that Has to have its lease renewed occasionally. It is used as advertising for the various events that take place in the public event space surrounding the wheel
