Hong Kong Disneyland, Hong Kong
(4.1/5 based on 10,000+ reviews on the web)
Enjoy a world of Disney characters and Disney-inspired rides and attractions at Hong Kong Disneyland, an Asian branch of the popular American brand. Opened in 2005, the park caters to tourists, with the Disney cast speaking English, Cantonese, and Mandarin. Explore seven themed sections, from a world of fantasy to Main Street, USA. Along the way you'll encounter attractions like Tarzan's treehouse, a Cinderella carousel, and Sleeping Beauty's castle--plus live Disney characters and plenty of dining options. Although an American company, this location has a uniquely Chinese flair, with important components of Chinese culture, such as feng shui, incorporated into its design. • But! I think it is better to go in the spring, as in December, comes a great number of tourists from China and standing in a queue, you can spend up to 1.5 hours.

  • The happiest place on (this part of the) Earth! I enjoyed the different attractions and rides on this place, along with my kids. One day is barely enough to maximize your stay in the park. Definitely be there at the opening time and stay until it closes for a chance to see the afternoon and night parade.
  • We went here at about noon on a Saturday and we barely had to wait for each ride (about 5 minutes). The wait time gradually went up as the park got busier around 3pm. Everything was clean and there are rides for thrill seekers and young children.
  • We had a great time! A perfect bonding adventure with family and friends! The entire experience was indeed magical! Most especially during the holidays, where in there is a light show every night before the fireworks display at 9pm. Winter season is the best time to visit the park ☺️👍🎪
  • Very well done park with a nice mix of shows and rides and extremely friendly staff. The park is not as big as Paris or Florida but therefore doable on one day if you stay from opening till closing time. Overall we had great fun and definitely recommend the visit. Bear in mind that HongKong is extremely hot and humid during the summer. All buildings including shows and indoor-rides have air conditioning though.
  • The most exciting part of Hong Kong Disneyland is incredible closing fireworks! Near 8pm everyday, if you're in Disneyland, hold on and stay at the plaza, keep your eyes on the Sleeping Beauty Castle, otherwise you'll miss out those beautiful flowers :P
